Treatment in Dubai for Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and GCC Patients
Many patients come to Manhal Medical Center from elsewhere in the UAE and the Gulf. Shorter distances make multi-visit treatment far easier, but planning still helps.

From Sharjah and the northern emirates
The drive from Sharjah to central Dubai can take anything from about 30 minutes to well over an hour, depending heavily on traffic on the main routes into Dubai. Patients from Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah should allow more time. Mid-morning and early-afternoon appointments often avoid the worst commuter traffic. If you are coming for surgery, arrange for someone else to drive you home, as you may feel tired or uncomfortable afterwards.
From Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
Abu Dhabi to the clinic is typically around 90 minutes by car, and Al Ain a similar time, although traffic and your exact starting point make a big difference. This makes day trips realistic for consultations, check-ups and many treatment stages. For longer procedures or surgery, some patients prefer to stay in Dubai the night before or after. Implants and orthodontics, which involve several visits over months, are very manageable from these cities with a little planning.
From Oman, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC
Flights from cities such as Muscat, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait City, Manama and Doha typically take between about one and three hours, and some patients from Oman drive. Check current entry requirements for your nationality through official sources; the clinic does not arrange visas, flights, hotels or transfers. Short travel times mean multi-stage treatment such as implants or orthodontics can often be planned around weekends, but appointment availability should be confirmed well in advance.
Language and communication
The clinic communicates in Arabic and English, so consultations and explanations can be given in the language you prefer. Send photographs, X-rays and your questions by WhatsApp to +971 52 987 2411, or call +971 4 328 4560. For patients travelling from elsewhere in the Gulf, sending records first helps the clinic suggest how many visits are needed and whether some stages can be combined, so that you make fewer journeys overall.
Treatment that suits nearby patients
Being close makes some treatments much more practical than they are for patients flying from Europe or the US. Orthodontics with Consultant Orthodontist Dr. Moaiyad Pacha, including Invisalign, MARPE and airway-focused treatment, involves regular reviews that are easier from within the region; contact the clinic for his Dubai dates. Implant treatment, gum care and follow-up with Specialist Dermatologist Dr. Abdullah Anis also become simpler when a return visit is only a drive or a short flight away.
Insurance, payment and timing
UAE health insurance plans differ widely in what dental care they include, and a policy issued in another emirate or GCC country may not apply in Dubai. Check your policy and ask the clinic about accepted insurance and payment methods before your visit. During Ramadan, clinic hours often shift, so confirm timings in advance, particularly if you are fasting and planning treatment. Summer heat makes travel after surgery more tiring, so plan for rest and plenty of fluids.

What we don't arrange
- We do not arrange visas, flights, hotels or airport transfers
- A final treatment plan always depends on the in-person examination
- Some treatments — such as implants and orthodontics — need more than one visit or local follow-up

Like many people, I don't enjoy the dentist. For many years I avoided visits out of fear. I found Manhal 15 years ago, and he is a wonderful dentist. Calming presence. Excellent implantology as well as other dental work. I have recommended him personally to many friends, and will continue to do so. I just hope he doesn't ever retire. When I have been overseas with dental problems, I have flown back to Dubai specifically to see him. Could not imagine ever going to another dentist.this was my first visit to Dr Manhal after recomendation from my husband, i needed his consultation after i visited more than one doctor in Lebanon with no luck, i am glad i visited him, he is very professional the clinic is very clean with great staffAmazing service and very friendly team I'm very happy with my dental implant results with Dr.Manhal ❤️
