Why Al Quoz patients use Manhal

Al Quoz is where a lot of Dubai works: workshops in Al Quoz Industrial, studios around Alserkal Avenue, and growing residential pockets in Al Quoz 4 and Al Khail Gate. What matters most here is whether an appointment fits between shifts.

Manhal is on the Al Safa side of Sheikh Zayed Road, so you are not crossing the city. One building covers dentistry and implants, orthodontics and dermatology, which matters when a chipped tooth, a stubborn rash and a laser course all need sorting in the same year.

Getting here from Al Quoz

We are at Office 101, SMJ1 Building, Street 22A, Al Safa 1, between Al Wasl Road and Sheikh Zayed Road.

  • From Al Quoz 1–3 and Alserkal: head for Sheikh Zayed Road and cross to the Al Safa side at one of the nearby interchanges, then follow the inner streets towards Al Wasl Road.
  • From Al Quoz Industrial 3–4 and Al Khail Gate: Al Khail Road (E44) is often the easier spine; join Sheikh Zayed Road only for the crossing.
  • By taxi or ride-hailing: search “Manhal Medical Center” and drivers will route you to Street 22A.

Ask about current parking arrangements when you book. If it is your first visit, WhatsApp +971 52 987 2411 and reception will send the map pin.

Questions patients ask

Patients visit us from Al Safa, Al Wasl, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Al Quoz, City Walk, Business Bay, Downtown Dubai and Al Barsha — and from Sharjah and the wider UAE.

How far is Manhal Medical Center from Al Quoz?

Manhal is in Al Safa 1, on the opposite side of Sheikh Zayed Road from Al Quoz, so most journeys only involve crossing at a nearby interchange. Exact timing depends on where in Al Quoz you start and the traffic on the day, so check your map app before leaving.

Is there a branch inside Al Quoz?

No. Manhal has one clinic, at Office 101, SMJ1 Building, Street 22A, Al Safa 1. It serves Al Quoz patients because it is just across Sheikh Zayed Road and houses dentistry, orthodontics and dermatology under one roof.

Can I come during a lunch break?

Often, yes. A routine check-up and cleaning usually takes under an hour, and small laser areas are shorter. Tell reception your window when booking and they will suggest a slot that fits, or move longer treatment to an evening or a Saturday.

I chipped a tooth at work. Can I be seen quickly?

Call or WhatsApp as soon as you can and keep any broken piece. The team will offer the earliest available slot. If a dental injury comes with a head injury, loss of consciousness or a jaw that will not close, go to a hospital emergency department first.

Do you treat men for laser hair removal?

Yes. Dr. Kavitha Ravichandran performs beard-line, neck, chest and back sessions on a Cynosure laser with skin cooling, with the plan supervised by dermatologist Dr. Abdullah Anis. Most areas need six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart.

Can wisdom tooth surgery be done on a Saturday?

Saturday appointments start from 10:00 and are popular for surgery because you have the rest of the weekend to recover. Dr. Moataz Al-Khan first assesses the tooth with imaging and explains whether removal is needed and what recovery involves.

Do you accept company insurance?

It depends on your insurer and plan. Bring your card or send a photo on WhatsApp and the team will check what your policy typically covers before treatment.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Emirates ID or passport, your insurance card if you have one, a list of medicines, and any recent X-rays or skin treatment history. You leave the first visit with a diagnosis and a written plan with the price.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Fariba. She is an amazing dentist—very professional, gentle, and caring. She took the time to explain every step of the treatment and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the procedure. Her clinic is clean, modern, and welcoming, and her staff are always friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with the results and truly appreciate her attention to detail. I highly recommend Dr. Fariba to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist

Like many people, I don't enjoy the dentist. For many years I avoided visits out of fear. I found Manhal 15 years ago, and he is a wonderful dentist. Calming presence. Excellent implantology as well as other dental work. I have recommended him personally to many friends, and will continue to do so. I just hope he doesn't ever retire. When I have been overseas with dental problems, I have flown back to Dubai specifically to see him. Could not imagine ever going to another dentist.
