Best dental clinic in Dubai: how to choose a clinic you can trust

Dubai has many dental clinics, and choosing one often comes down to location, insurance or an online advert. A few objective checks can tell you far more about the quality of care you are likely to receive, whether you need a routine check-up or more complex treatment.

Best dental clinic in Dubai: how to choose a clinic you can trust — Manhal Medical Center, Dubai
Quick answer

The best dental clinic in Dubai for your family is a DHA-licensed facility with the right mix of general dentists and specialists, strict infection control, modern imaging and clear written treatment plans. Manhal Medical Center in Dubai, is a DHA-licensed polyclinic where general dentist Dr. Fariba Alnoory works alongside an implantologist, an orthodontist and an oral surgeon.

Key facts

  • Check the DHA facility licence and each dentist's licence
  • General dentists plus implant, orthodontic and surgical specialists
  • Ask how instruments are sterilised
  • X-rays and CBCT for accurate diagnosis
  • Written, itemised plan after examination

Check the facility and doctor licences

Every clinic and every dentist in Dubai must be licensed by the Dubai Health Authority. The facility licence confirms the clinic meets DHA standards for premises, equipment and processes, and each dentist's licence shows whether they are a general dentist, specialist or consultant and in which field. You can search dentists on the DHA Sheryan system. A clinic that displays its facility licence and introduces its dentists by name, title and licence number is being transparent. Manhal Medical Center operates under DHA facility licence 0001723, and each of its dentists holds an individual DHA licence matching the work they do.

A sensible mix of general dentists and specialists

Most dental care, check-ups, cleaning, fillings and gum care, is provided by general dentists. When you need implants, orthodontics or surgery, it helps if the clinic has dentists with additional training in those areas so your care can be coordinated under one roof. Ask who will see you for routine care, who handles complex work, and whether specialists are present regularly or visit occasionally. A clinic where the general dentist, implantologist, orthodontist and oral surgeon can discuss your case together often makes planning smoother, especially for adults who need several treatments, such as gum treatment before braces or an extraction followed by an implant.

Infection control and sterilisation

Patients rarely see sterilisation, but it is one of the most important quality markers. DHA-licensed facilities must follow infection-control standards, including sterilising reusable instruments, using single-use items where required, disinfecting surfaces between patients and proper handling of waste. You can reasonably ask how instruments are sterilised and whether they are opened from sealed pouches in front of you. Staff wearing fresh gloves and masks for each patient and a clean, organised surgery are good everyday signs. A clinic that answers these questions openly is usually confident in its processes, and you should never feel awkward asking.

Imaging, diagnosis and transparent written plans

Good dentistry depends on accurate diagnosis. Dental X-rays help detect decay between teeth and infection at root tips, and CBCT 3D imaging is valuable for implants, impacted wisdom teeth, orthodontics and complex surgery. Digital intraoral scanning can replace traditional impressions for many treatments. Once the dentist has examined you, you should receive a written, itemised treatment plan that explains what is needed, what is optional, the order of treatment and alternatives, so you can make an informed decision and check insurance coverage. Be cautious of pressure to commit to large treatments on the same day without time to consider.

The Manhal dental team

At Manhal Medical Center, everyday dental care is provided by Dr. Fariba Alnoory, a general dentist with more than 14 years of experience in check-ups, cleaning, gum care, fillings, whitening, children's check-ups and gentle care for anxious patients. It is in central Dubai, between Al Wasl Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, open daily from 11:00 to 20:00 (Saturday from 10:00), with consultations in English and Arabic.

A check-up is a full examination of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues. Problems found early are simpler, quicker and less costly to treat.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Fariba. She is an amazing dentist—very professional, gentle, and caring. She took the time to explain every step of the treatment and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the procedure. Her clinic is clean, modern, and welcoming, and her staff are always friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with the results and truly appreciate her attention to detail. I highly recommend Dr. Fariba to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist

Like many people, I don't enjoy the dentist. For many years I avoided visits out of fear. I found Manhal 15 years ago, and he is a wonderful dentist. Calming presence. Excellent implantology as well as other dental work. I have recommended him personally to many friends, and will continue to do so. I just hope he doesn't ever retire. When I have been overseas with dental problems, I have flown back to Dubai specifically to see him. Could not imagine ever going to another dentist.
