Dentist for Motor City residents — gum care, whitening, root canal and implants in Dubai

People in Motor City often search for specific treatments, such as gum disease treatment, teeth whitening, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, extractions, implants or a “Hollywood smile”. Some prefer to travel a little further for a clinic that can manage everything in one place and give a clear written plan.

Dentist for Motor City residents — Manhal Medical Center, Dubai
Quick answer

Motor City and Al Barsha South residents can reach Manhal Medical Center in Dubai, via Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road, usually in around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. General dentist Dr. Fariba Alnoory handles check-ups, gum treatment, whitening and root canal assessment, with crowns, extractions and implants coordinated with the clinic’s specialists.

Key facts

  • Usually 20–30 minutes from Motor City via Sheikh Zayed or Al Khail Road
  • Gum disease assessment, cleaning and deep cleaning
  • Whitening, crowns, bridges and root canal assessment
  • Extractions and implants coordinated with in-house specialists
  • Written, itemised plan before treatment

Travelling from Motor City to Dubai

Manhal Medical Center is at Office 101, SMJ1 Building, Street 22A, Al Safa 1, between Al Wasl Road and Sheikh Zayed Road. From Motor City, Arjan or Al Barsha South, most patients use Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road, and the drive is usually around 20 to 30 minutes outside heavy traffic. Many residents who work in central Dubai find it convenient to book on their way home, as the clinic is open daily until 20:00 and from 10:00 on Saturdays. Because multi-step treatments involve several visits, the team can plan appointments to reduce the number of trips and tell you in advance how long each visit will take.

Gum disease treatment and cleaning

Bleeding when brushing, bad breath, receding gums or teeth that feel loose can all be signs of gum disease. Dr. Fariba Alnoory measures gum pockets, checks X-rays for bone support and explains whether a routine scale and polish is enough or whether deeper cleaning below the gum line is needed. Deep cleaning is done under local anaesthetic where required, often over more than one session, followed by a review to check healing. Good home care, including interdental brushes or floss, is essential to keep results. Smokers and people with diabetes are at higher risk, so regular maintenance visits are especially important.

Whitening, crowns and “Hollywood smile” questions

Teeth whitening can lighten natural tooth colour, but it does not change fillings or crowns, and sensitivity can occur temporarily. Dr. Fariba Alnoory checks for decay and gum health before recommending professional whitening. For broken or heavily filled teeth, crowns made of zirconia, porcelain-fused-to-metal or E.max ceramic may be advised, and a bridge may replace a missing tooth. The term “Hollywood smile” usually refers to a set of veneers or crowns across the smile; this is a major decision that removes natural tooth structure, so it is planned carefully with the clinic’s specialist team using digital scanning, and more conservative options are always discussed first.

Root canal treatment and extractions

A tooth with deep decay or a cracked tooth can develop inflamed or infected pulp, causing lingering pain to hot or cold, pain when biting or a gum swelling. Root canal treatment cleans and seals the inside of the tooth so it can be kept, usually followed by a crown on back teeth. Dr. Fariba Alnoory assesses whether a tooth can be saved, explains the expected number of visits and refers complex cases or surgical extractions to the clinic’s oral surgeon. Where a tooth cannot be saved, extraction is carried out under local anaesthetic, and the options for replacing it are discussed before or after removal.

Dental implants and planning in one place

If you have a missing tooth, an implant is one option alongside a bridge or a removable denture. At Manhal, Dr. Fariba Alnoory checks your general dental health first, and suitable implant cases are planned by the clinic’s implant team using CBCT 3D imaging to measure bone and nerve positions. Keeping diagnosis, surgery and the final crown within one clinic helps avoid repeated records and conflicting advice. Before treatment you receive a written, itemised plan covering each stage. Manhal Medical Center holds DHA facility licence 0001723, and you can check each dentist’s licence and title on the DHA Sheryan register.

A check-up is a full examination of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues. Problems found early are simpler, quicker and less costly to treat.

Like many people, I don't enjoy the dentist. For many years I avoided visits out of fear. I found Manhal 15 years ago, and he is a wonderful dentist. Calming presence. Excellent implantology as well as other dental work. I have recommended him personally to many friends, and will continue to do so. I just hope he doesn't ever retire. When I have been overseas with dental problems, I have flown back to Dubai specifically to see him. Could not imagine ever going to another dentist.
